Reaching a congregation consistently and meaningfully takes more than a good message — it takes the right strategy, the right content, and a list worth sending to. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church uses Flocknote to keep its members connected through email and SMS updates, and since stepping into this role I've made it a priority to grow that reach while making every message worth opening.
A church website has one of the most important jobs in digital design — it's often the very first impression a family or individual gets before ever setting foot through the door. For Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagan, Minnesota, that first impression needed work.
Angel of Hope Animal Rescue is doing meaningful work, giving animals a second chance and connecting them with loving homes. Their website, however, wasn't doing that story justice. The previous site was text-heavy, difficult to navigate, and lacked the warmth and heart that defines the rescue's mission. Visitors looking to adopt, donate, or volunteer were met with walls of content instead of a clear, welcoming path forward.
Launched and grew Mount Calvary's YouTube channel to 500+ subscribers, giving the congregation and beyond a home to access worship, sermons, and church content on demand.
Built Mount Calvary's Instagram account from scratch, creating a visual storytelling channel that reflects the warmth and life of the community, growing it to 220+ followers and counting.
Grew Mount Calvary's Facebook presence from 218 followers to 530+, building it into the church's primary hub for community updates, event announcements, and everyday connection with the congregation.
